5 MW wind power plant with 2.5 MW / 5 MWh BESS for the Khan Altai ore processing plant

We executed the engineering design and provided design supervision during the construction and installation phase for the 5 MW Wind Power Plant equipped with a 2.5 MW / 5 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). This facility was developed for the internal power consumption of the Khan Altai ore processing plant, located in Yesunbulag Soum, Govi-Altai Province.
The scope of work included the following:
Design of ten 500 kW wind turbines.
Design of ten 630 kVA (0.6/10 kV) step-up pre-fabricated transformer substations (KTPN).
Design of a 4.5 km long, single-circuit 10 kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL).
Design of the 10 kV switchgear substation, consisting of eight KYN-28 type switchgear panels.
Design of the 2.5 MW / 5 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
Design of the 1.3 MVar Static Var Generator (SVG) for voltage regulation.
