Mongolia MAK Solar Project: 40 MW solar and 90 MWh energy storage

"Mongolyn Alt" (MAK) LLC and China's Huawei Technologies Corporation established a partnership agreement to implement large-scale renewable energy projects. Within the framework of this program, a 40 MW solar power plant capacity and a 90 MWh battery energy storage system were constructed and commissioned to provide renewable energy to industrial facilities and mines located in Tuv, Dornogovi, and Dundgovi provinces.
"Shugam" LLC participated as a subcontractor to the EPC contractor for this project, providing engineering design, consulting services and design supervision for:
Dalanjargalan Solar Power Plant: a 19.7 MW solar power plant and a 48 MWh Energy Storage System (ESS) at the industrial park in Dalanjargalan Soum, Dornogovi Province.
Khoot Solar Power Plant: a 13.5 MW solar power plant and a 32 MWh ESS supporting the Khoot mine in Bayanjargalan Soum, Dundgovi Province.
Sergelen Solar Power Plant: a 4.9 MW solar power plant and a 10 MWh ESS at the Sergelen Industrial Park, Tuv Province.
